Curious about how to level a Rogue? Many people are, but before you read up on that, it's a good idea to fully understand the Rogue class first.
To begin, a Rogue is a high DPS melee class, they dish it out like no other. If you're not into heavy melee combat, the Rogue is not for you. The Rogue is also a very stealthy character who can really hold his own when it comes to player vs player.
Now as great as the Rogue is, they do have their shortcomings. For one, the Rogue is often seen by many other players as a threat and thus a prime target to kill off early, also while you dual wield, your to hit and damage ratio on your offhand weapon is going to be lowered.
But anyways, the Rogue is plenty of fun no matter how you slice it and they can be quite the thorn in many other classes sides. As far as how to level a Rogue though, if you need a rotation to follow, here's one that will help you out in the beginning of the game:
Start with a Backstab/Garrote, then use Slice and Dice, Sinister Strike 1-5 times, then finish with Eviscerate/Rupture.
Doing this alone can get you all the way to 60 without much trouble. You can even use this from 60 to 80 pretty much, the only thing you may want to do is add Adrenaline Rush for more energy and Blade Fury for another quick speed boost.
If you are getting bored with that though, you can also try this "Mutilate" build, here's how to execute it:
Open with Hunger for Blood 3 times, then Backstab, follow with Slice and Dice then Mutilate and finish with Envenom or Rupture.
That should answer your questions regarding how to level a Rogue, the attack sequences of the Rogue are really quite simple so that should be enough to get you up and going. If you still want more info though, it's best to look into a guide.
